Common enquiries

Everything players ask before they trade.

If your question isn't here, open a ticket. It costs nothing, commits you to nothing, and admins answer questions all day.

Is buying or selling RuneScape names bannable?

Trading display names for RuneScape gold only is permitted. Jagex bans real-world trading (RWT) — cash, crypto, items outside the game. We strictly handle gp-only name trades. We will never facilitate RWT, account sales, or logins.

How do I protect myself from name snipers?

Don't attempt a transfer yourself. Sniping bots watch for released names around the clock and can snatch one in under a second. Use a vouched service with a private, sniper-resistant method. See our approach.

How do I know I'm talking to a real admin?

Open a ticket inside our Discord. We never DM first — ever. Never trust unsolicited DMs, even from profiles that look identical to staff. Our staff carry the NS role — verify it before acting. If anything feels off, ask in #general; the community will confirm.

What payment methods do you allow?

RuneScape gold only. No real-world money, no crypto, no account sales, no out-of-game items, no gift cards. Full stop.

Do you support both OSRS and RS3?

Yes. Names are tied to accounts regardless of OSRS or RS3, so it's all the same to us.

How long does a trade take?

Typical end-to-end (ticket open → vouch posted): 30 to 90 minutes. The transfer method itself is quick; most time is spent confirming details and arranging both parties. Off-hours pickup can take up to an hour.

How do I start a safe name trade?

Join our Discord, open a ticket from #create-a-ticket, tell the admin what you want. They'll take it from there. Keep all communication in the ticket.

Can you publish the sniper-resistant method?

No — and that's a feature, not a bug. If we published it, snipers would adapt. We explain the parts that are safe to explain inside your ticket.

What if something goes wrong mid-trade?

Stop. Stay in the ticket. Don't send any more gp or make any transfers. The admin pauses the trade, reviews the log, and either resolves the issue or refunds. Every ticket is timestamped and auditable.
